Details
The top layer of skin is often described as bricks and mortar: flat cells set in a mix of ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids in roughly equal parts. This cream supplies all three, with glycerin to draw in water, squalane to soften and niacinamide at 2%.
It is fragrance-free and comes in a glass jar. Use it after retinol nights, in cold, dry, air-conditioned rooms, or any time your skin feels tight.
Suits: Dry, normal and sensitive skin. Oily skin can use a thin layer, mainly at night.

How to use
- Morning and nightScoop out a pea-sized amount with the spatula or a clean fingertip.
- Morning and nightWarm it between your palms and press it over your face and neck.

How often: Morning and night. Skip the morning layer if your skin is oily.
Warnings
- For external use only. Stop if irritation lasts.

Shipping and returns
Delivery is RM 7 in Peninsular Malaysia (1 to 4 working days) and RM 18 to Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan (3 to 7 working days). It is free over RM 100 and RM 150 respectively. Cash on delivery is available in Peninsular Malaysia, RM 5 handling.
Sealed, unopened products can be returned within 15 days of delivery. Faulty or wrong items are always covered.

- Not usually needed. If your skin is reactive, patch test on your inner forearm.
- How long it takes
- It feels comfortable on the first use. A stressed barrier takes time to settle, so give it a few weeks of regular use before you judge.
What the research says
Reviews describe the space between skin cells as a lipid mix of roughly equal parts ceramides, cholesterol and free fatty acids. In a 1996 study applying all three in equal amounts allowed normal barrier recovery, and applying only one or two delayed it. Humectants, emollients and occlusives each do a different job in a moisturiser.
What it does not say
The barrier-recovery study was mostly in mice. Whether topical ceramides slot into skin the way the body's own do is not established, and moisturisers help skin hold water: they do not cure eczema or reverse ageing.
