Web studio · Malaysia

We build the website, and the back office behind it.

Hanastudio is a small web studio in Malaysia. We build fast, accessible websites for local businesses, and the booking, ordering and reporting tools your team uses every day. Scoped properly, built in the open, handed over with a walkthrough.

Selected work

Four sites, built to show how we work.

Each one is a working demo: click through it, or press Try it live to run it right here. They use sample brands with clearly marked sample content.

A property agent's site with a real CRM behind it

Real listings with photos, facts and a mortgage calculator, and a viewing request that lands in WhatsApp and in the agent's dashboard.

  • Search, filters, favourites and side-by-side compare
  • Gallery with lightbox, key facts, sources and a mortgage calculator
  • Viewing requests go straight into the agent's pipeline

Dashboards

Every site comes with the back office.

Not a mock-up. Add, edit and move things in these dashboards and the public site follows. The demos keep sample data in your browser; a real build connects a database.

Services

Five kinds of work, usually together.

Most projects start with a website and grow a back office behind it. We scope the smallest useful version first.

  • 01

    The front door.

    Websites

Fast, mobile-first sites for businesses that win customers from a phone: estate agents, shops, clinics, tradespeople. Real pages, real photography, and enquiries that land in WhatsApp or straight into your dashboard.

    • Marketing sites
    • Online shops
    • Booking flows
    • BM and English
  • 02

    The back office.

    Web apps and dashboards

The screen your team opens every morning. Orders, viewings, jobs and content in one place, with search, filters, roles, reports and exports, built around how the work actually runs.

    • Dashboards
    • Client portals
    • Roles and sign-in
    • Reports and CSV
  • 03

    Goodbye, spreadsheet.

    Custom systems

Replace the spreadsheet and the WhatsApp group with one system: orders, bookings, stock, approvals, staff or recruitment pipelines.

    • Orders and bookings
    • Stock
    • Approvals
    • Invoices and PDFs
  • 04

    Money in, messages out.

    Payments and integrations

Take payment with FPX and cards through ToyyibPay or Stripe, confirm it on the server, and hand the order to WhatsApp and email.

  • 05

    Still here next month.

    Care after launch

Small improvements and fixes once the site is live, so it keeps up with the business instead of slowly going stale.

Process

How a project runs.

Four steps, and you see progress the whole way. The scope comes from how your work actually runs, not from a fixed package.

  1. 01

    Scope call

One conversation about how the work runs today: who touches it, where it gets stuck, and what done looks like.

You getA shared understanding, and honest advice on what to build first.

  2. 02

    Written scope

What is in, what is out, and the order we build it in. A clickable prototype early, before the heavy build.

You getA written scope and a quote you can say yes or no to.

  3. 03

    Build in the open

Regular demos on a preview link, so feedback is cheap and there are no surprises at the end.

You getA link you can open on your own phone, every week.

  4. 04

    Launch and handover

We deploy, walk your team through it, and leave a short guide behind.

You getThe code, the content and a walkthrough. Yours to keep.

How we build

Small things done properly.

The parts nobody notices when they are right, and everybody notices when they are wrong.

  • Fast on a mid-range phone

Static pages, sized images and very little JavaScript, so it loads quickly on mobile data, not just on our laptops.

  • Accessible by default

Keyboard, contrast, reduced motion and screen readers are checked with axe on every page we ship.

  • No trackers

No third-party scripts loading in the background, so no cookie banner is needed for what we build.

  • Yours to keep

You get the source code, the content and a walkthrough, so you are never stuck with us.

  • Written for your customers

Bahasa Malaysia, English or both, in the way your customers actually talk, not stiff or machine translated.

  • Clear about scope

A written scope up front: what is in, what is out, and in what order. Changes are discussed, never sprung on you.

About

A small studio, deliberately.

Hanastudio is a web studio. We take on a few projects at a time so each one gets proper attention, from the first scope call to the handover.

Most of our work replaces something: a spreadsheet, a chat thread, a form that goes nowhere. The first job is understanding the process, the second is building the smallest thing that fixes it.

  • Mobile first, because that is where customers are
  • Accessible by default: keyboard, contrast, reduced motion
  • Fast pages, with no third-party trackers in the background
  • Plain explanations, with no jargon in a handover

FAQ

Fair questions.

Something else on your mind? Send a message and we will answer it plainly.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on what has to work: a five-page marketing site is a different job from a shop with payments or a booking system with a dashboard. After the scope call you get a written scope and a quote, so you know the number before anything is built.

How long does it take?

A focused marketing site is a matter of weeks. Anything with a dashboard, payments or bookings takes longer. The written scope has the order we build things in, so the most useful part goes live first.

Can we edit the content ourselves?

Yes. Where it makes sense the site comes with a dashboard for your team: change prices, publish a post, mark an order as shipped, block a booking slot. The demos on this site show what that looks like.

Do you take payments?

Yes. We connect ToyyibPay (FPX and cards) or Stripe, and confirm every payment with the gateway on the server before an order is marked as paid. The shop demo runs the whole flow on a simulated gateway.

Who owns the site?

You do. The code, the content and the domain are handed over at launch with a walkthrough. We can keep looking after it, but you are not tied to us.

Do you work in Bahasa Malaysia?

Yes. Sites can be BM, English or both, with copy that reads like a person wrote it for your customers.
