Details

A plain balm with castor oil for glide, shea butter and candelilla wax to make a film that stays put, squalane to soften and a little ceramide NP. No fragrance, menthol, camphor or essential oils. It comes in a small glass pot with a lid.

It is thick, so a little goes a long way. Use it on its own, under lipstick or as a mask before bed.

Suits: Everyone, and especially lips that feel dry in air-conditioning. No beeswax or lanolin.

How to use
  1. Morning and nightTake a small amount with a clean fingertip and press it onto clean, dry lips.
  2. NightAt night, apply a thicker layer before bed.

How often: Whenever lips feel dry. Reapply after eating and drinking.

Warnings
  • Contains shea and sunflower: avoid if you are allergic to nuts or seeds.
  • This balm has no SPF. Use sunscreen on your lips outdoors.

Delivery is RM 7 in Peninsular Malaysia (1 to 4 working days) and RM 18 to Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan (3 to 7 working days). It is free over RM 100 and RM 150 respectively. Cash on delivery is available in Peninsular Malaysia, RM 5 handling.

Sealed, unopened products can be returned within 15 days of delivery. Faulty or wrong items are always covered.

    What the research says

    Emollients smooth the surface, occlusives reduce water loss, and both are the building blocks of lip balms. Ceramide NP is one of the lipids found between skin cells.

    What it does not say

    There is no lip-specific trial behind this balm, and no health claim is made for it.
