Oakleaf Park is an older condominium off Persiaran Bukit Jaya in Taman Bukit Jaya, part of the hillside township of Bukit Antarabangsa in Ulu Klang, Ampang. It was completed in 2000 and sits about 10 km from the city centre.

Three-bedroom units of 856 to 861 sq ft were being offered at around RM 290,000 to RM 300,000, with maintenance of roughly RM 220 to RM 233 a month. That is the entry price for a family home in the Ampang area, which is why it suits first-time buyers.

Two things to check before you offer: the lease (one listing quotes about 71 years left) and the title, because many Oakleaf Park units are Bumi lots that only Bumiputera buyers may purchase. It is also a hillside area, so ask for the slope and drainage records for the block.
