A planned landed township from the 1970s, now mature and tree-lined

Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI)

TTDI is one of Kuala Lumpur's oldest planned landed neighbourhoods, on the western edge of the city. Streets are lined with old rain trees and most of the housing is terrace and link houses on freehold land.

  • Development plans began in 1973, when two experienced developers formed UDA-Seapark Sdn Bhd. Construction started in 1974.

  • The township was built on a 286-hectare piece of old rubber estate land and is named after Tun Dr Ismail, Malaysia's first ambassador to the United States and later Deputy Prime Minister.
